1. Republic Aquatic Center: Republic MO

Republic Aquatic Center is one of the most popular aquatic centers right outside of Springfield MO.  They not only have traditional swimming space for everyone to enjoy they also have a speed slide, corkscrew slide, and several diving boards. Missing the beach?  They have a surfing simulator to practice your surfing skills.

2. Jordan Valley Park: Springfield MO

Jordan Valley Park has splash fountains and a small wading pool for kids.  It is perfect for families to cool off before walking on their trails or playing on the playground.

3. Chesterfield Family Center: Springfield MO

Are you looking for an indoor place to swim in Springfield MO, so your family to cool off but still enjoy the water?  Chesterfield Family Center is our favorite fitness center that offers a pool!  They have a zero-entry pool for kids, an area for traditional swimming, slides, a lap pool, and a hot tub.  You can even join their many other amenities while you there, such as their basketball court, rock wall, indoor and outdoor walking trails, fitness classes, and daycare while you work out.  Chesterfield made it one of our most recommended fitness centers in Springfield MO with childcare due to all of their great features.

4. White Water: Branson MO

White Water is Branson’s famous water attraction.  “This Branson water park features 2 million gallons of fun and 13 acres of water rides, slides, and waves. Enjoy the high tide of the 500,000-gallon Surf’s Up Wave Pool, float your cares away on the Aloha River, or splash with little ones in Coconut Cove. For high thrills, take a 70-degree, 40-foot plunge at a screaming 26 feet per second on KaPau Plummet or brave the side-by-side freefall drop slides at Kalani Towers.” https://www.silverdollarcity.com/white-water There are also dozens of dining options to enjoy during your trip so you never have to leave!

5. Fassnight Pool: Springfield MO

Fassnight pool is known for being the largest public pool in Springfield. It has a slide, 2 diving boards, and a fenced-in splash area for your little ones.

6. Splash Country Waterpark: Branson MO

Splash Country Waterpark is an indoor and outdoor water park with so many different options to play for all ages.  Inside there is a lazy river, tube slides, hot tubs, a large bucket that dumps that all the kids have a kick out of, water basketball, and a splash pad.  Outdoor, there is a splash pad area with 2 kids’ slides that are great for ages as young as 1.  We love to spend the weekend there and stay in their hotel so you can enjoy the water park throughout your stay.  The water park is included for those that stay in their hotel.  Otherwise, there are day passes for purchase. It is one of the best waterparks in Branson MO

7. Wonders of Wildlife: Springfield MO

Looking for an adventurous swim?  Such as… swimming with sharks?  Check out the Wonders of Wildlife!  They offer an adventurous swimming experience, swimming as you swim with sharks!

8. Branson Aquaplex: Branson MO

Branson Aquaplex is Branson’s 12,250 square feet public pool.  The Branson Aquaplex includes, “A large deck area offers tables, lounge chairs, and shade structures to make your visit comfortable.  Locker rooms or a family changing room are available… snacks or a cold drink or smoothie at the concession stand.”  The Aquaplex includes a zero-entry leisure pool, toddler slide, playground structure, two large water slides, basketball goal, 8 lanes of lap swimming, a diving well, and an aquatic climbing wall.

9. Nixa Aquatics Center: Nixa MO

Nixa Aquatics Center is Nixa’s public pool with slides, a splash zone area for kids, and pool games such as basketball.  Every year they host doggie dive where all the neighborhood dogs can leap in on their pool day on the last day of the season.

10. Fugitive Beach: Rolla MO

Rolla’s Fugitive Beach is a repurposed rock quarry with a 65-foot water slide, 50-foot water slide, several jumping cliffs, sand volleyball courts, and a large swimming area.  There are lifeguards on duty to help keep an eye on your family and food, drinks, and alcohol on sight.

11. Stockton Lake State Park Public Beach: Dadeville MO

Stock Lake Public Beach offers a gravel beach located at the north end of the park.  There is also a picnic area with tables and outdoor grills to enjoy a BBQ while you spend time swimming, fishing, and boating at the lake.

12. Moonshine Beach: Branson MO

Moonshine Beach is an expansive beach on Table Rock Lake. It offers a beach, grills, drinking water, restrooms, a playground, a food vendor, a volleyball court, a boat ramp, and a picnic area. There are also hiking trails surrounding the beach.
