There are so many family-friendly indoor activities in Branson, MO, that your WHOLE family can enjoy. Finding something that is not only fun for kids of all ages but parents too can be difficult. We go to Branson often for mini-vacations to act like a tourist and enjoy all of the fun activities they have.
Splash Country Indoors and Waterpark is a waterpark filled with slides, a lazy river, a kids splash pad, water basketball, independent pools, hot tubs, and more. It is such a fun place to take the whole family! They also have a hotel, golfing, Pizza restaurant, kids center, and more to enjoy within walking distance. This is our go-to family vacation spot when we stay in Branson, and our whole family is never ready to leave. It is actually one of the best waterparks in Branson and one of the best places to stay in Branson because of their waterpark!
Dutton Family Theatre is a BLAST! I started taking my kids at only a few months old, and they were mesmerized by the singing, dancing, lights, and vibe their theatre has. It is family-friendly and fun for any age. Fun tip: If you have a chance to visit their Christmas show, it is always my FAVORITE!
Dolly Parton’s Stampede was awarded “The World’s Most Visited Dinner Attraction” and was such a fun (and different) experience, and the top recommended shows in Branson for kids ! While your family enjoys a four-course dinner, you also can view an interactive show with 32 horses and a cast of trick riders in a 35000 square foot arena. There is a friendly competition, horseback stunts at top speed, special effects, musical production, and more!
The Butterfly Palace offers a unique tropical experience with interactive, educational, and entertaining activities for the whole family. They have a butterfly aviary, banyan tree adventure, mirror maze, and science center for an opportunity to be close to thousands of butterflies and other rainforest animals and feel like you are exploring the rainforest.
Ripley’s Believe it Or Not, is a self-guided tour to experience the bizarre, explore the mysterious and enjoy the weird through 8 galleries of ever-changing collections of 450 unique certifications, art, crazy illusions, and interactive activities. They also have a Ripley’s Super Fun Zone with unlimited all-day play with games, laser tag, maze, smash dash, and more!
Big Air is a trampoline park plus has over 57 fun attractions! It is perfect for a full fun day of fun with the whole family.
Coral Reef Mini Golf is an indoor mini-golf course fun for the whole family. My husband and I visited this during our honeymoon for an indoor activity in Branson, MO.
WonderWorks is a STEAM-inspired, 48,000 square feet indoor amusement park with over 100 hand-on exhibits that are both educational and entertaining!
Acrobats of Branson Circus is Branson’s Chinese Acrobats Shows with entertaining acts, stunts, music, costumes, and exotic sets. My kids thought it was very fascinating to watch and were so excited to see everything going on.
The aquarium at the Boardwalk is on our list to do! They have an interactive aquarium that is fun for all ages. You can take photos with a giant octopus, take a 5D submarine ride, explore fish, visit the jelly infinity room, get a vast view of a beautiful coral reef, and more!
Haygood’s show is a family-friendly show filled with singing, dancing, and special effects. It is SO entertaining and a blast to watch! Every year we go to at least one of their shows and have loved all of them! According to their website, they are “Branson’s most popular show”. We have taken our kids every year since they were about a year old, and they have always been mesmerized by it all.
Showboat Branson Belle is a nightly cruise on the Table Rock Lake! Your family can enjoy a 3-course meal while being entertained by a live show of live music, dancing, comedy, magic, and more!
The sight and sound theatre takes a theatre performance to a whole new level. All of their shows are Bible-based, filled with inspiring stories, massive sets, special effects, and sometimes even live animals!
No matter what you choose, I don’t think you can go wrong with making an amazing experience for your family.
